Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Corpium (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Corpium lets you search and view UK company information — company profiles, officers, persons with significant control, and filing history — sourced from Companies House's public register. We also offer an optional, paid credit report with additional financial and risk information.
3. Not affiliated with Companies House
Corpium is an independent service and is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Companies House, HMRC, or any other UK government body. Using Corpium does not file anything on your behalf with Companies House.
4. Accuracy of information
We aim to keep company data current, and each profile shows when it was last updated, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that any information is complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you view it. For anything with legal, financial or contractual consequences, always verify directly against the live register on Companies House.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service beyond normal, individual browsing;
- Use the Service to harass, stalk, defraud, or make unlawful contact with any individual named on it;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- Misrepresent Corpium data as an official Companies House record or as independent legal or financial advice.
6. Credit reports
Credit reports are a one-off paid purchase, delivered instantly on completion of payment. Because the report is digital content delivered immediately at your request, once it has been delivered we're unable to offer a refund except where the report was materially defective or we made an error in processing your order — contact support@corpium.co.uk in that case.
7. Intellectual property
The Corpium name, design, and software are our property or that of our licensors. The underlying company register data originates from Companies House and remains subject to its own licensing terms (typically the Open Government Licence); nothing here grants you any greater rights over that data than Companies House itself grants.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corpium and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any reliance placed on the information it contains. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms, or change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, at any time. We may also suspend or restrict access for anyone who breaches these terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever these terms change.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
